2023-2024

Before the vast territory of the Pacific Ocean, which some call "the End of the World," stretches a land that has grown within me for nine months.
From the volcanic lands of the North to the primeval rainforests of the West Coast, from the icy peaks of the South to the shores of pristine lakes and blue lagoons, rest the daughters of pure springs. Passing through subterranean starry caves and returning to the light in the mystical waters of the East.

Her indigenous name is Aotearoa.

statement

This work was born from the desire to unlearn the ways in which Western culture has taught us to see.

These images do not describe a place. They are inviting a more intuitive, subtle, and essential way of perceiving.

I seek another way of seeing — one that does not colonize the visible.
A gaze that does not reduce nature to background or subject, but recognizes it as A mystery that nourishes us, yet does not belong to us.

This project is an act of trust in the invisible. A search for truth beyond imposed codes. An attempt to return the land to its mystery.

Here, my gaze does not seek to dominate, but to listen — with gentleness and openness.
It does not measure. It navigates through resonance.
I try to evoke nature without describing it.

A journey to remind us that we have forgotten who we are: custodians and guests of a mystery.
